TRANSIT
CONTRACT VOTE: On March 26, 2009,
Local 465 members of the San Diego Transit Maintenance unit ratified a new
contract by the following results:

The MTS Board approved the new contract on April 9th,
2009. All aspects of the amended
contract are now in effect, including wages and the new Attendance Policy.
Eddie Gonalez
Retires: As you can see below,
everyone turned out for Eddie Gonzalez' recent retirement after 35 years of
service with the Company. (Eddie is in the light blue t-shirt.) TheUnion
would like to thank him for all of his efforts as a member of the Joint
Apprenticeship Training Committee, and his consistent involvement advocating
for his fellow brothers and sisters.

MEETINGS are held on the first
Thursday of every month at 4:00 p.m. at the IBEW Union
Hall, 7444 Trade St., San Diego. Changes to this general schedule or special
meetings will be posted throughout the property on the Union bulletin boards.

CONCERNS: We want to remind you
to be aware of any safety concerns and bring them to the Company's attention
