LATEST TRANSIT NEWS:  We want to say that our Transit Unit has a unique fund that is set up and administered by the Transit Unit itself called the Contrib Club.  For as little as a dollar a pay period (or any other amount) Transit members can help out with local charities such as the Burn Center or local food drives.  Those who are Contrib Club members get to vote at the Transit unit meetings on charitable contributions.  We would encourage all of our Transit members to participate as this is a great way that we as Union members can show our care and concern for our brothers and sisters in the local community.  If you are interested, contact the union or your steward to fill out a card to specify the amount you would like to contribute out of your paycheck.  In this case, with all of our Transit members, a little can go a long way.

Transit Contract

TRANSIT UNIT MEETINGS are held on the first Thursday of every month at 4:00 p.m. at the IBEW Union Hall, 7444 Trade St., San Diego.  Changes to this general schedule or special meetings will be posted throughout the property on the Union bulletin boards.

SAFETY MEETINGS AND OTHER CONCERNS:  We want to remind you to be aware of any safety concerns and bring them to the Company's attention immediately.  Of course, if you have any additional problems or questions, contact the Union Hall at (858) 536-7444.
